Shirley, set em up.
I remember a particular helmet being mentioned a while back here in
rmh. IIRC it was a full face and again, IIRC, one of the lovely
ladies out here had bought hers while in Germany???
I would like to try and find it and have been searching Google groups
without any luck. I don't think it started out as a helmet
discussion. I thought the name of the helmet started with a G, but
i'm old and my mind is pretty feeble.
Any help on this? And sorry if this turns into a helmet thread. <g>

there is ROOF (a french made helmet http://www.roof.fr/
which if it was Dana she mentioned she owns one, wish we could have
got them here in the U.S to try out, looks like a awesome helmet
and Schuberth http://www.schuberth.com/ made in germany which is now
imported to the U.S. by santa cruz bmw I think, we have a Concept
(which is now replaced by the C2 which my wife has and is much quieter
and vents better than the concept, however the concept is a great FF
flip up helmet if you can find a close out special on it for a couple
hundred bucks

Thanks. It seems I was thinking of the C2 you mentioned. Now I will
be able to search for it.
Have one off the top shelf on me.

Those are some weird looking helmets. I'd like to try one of those "Jets"
sometime.

If I understood the online brochure, I'd like to find something like the
Phair. After a winter ride I'm coughing far too much and it occurred to me
that I'm probably inhaling the dried road salts being stirred up by highway
traffic. That can't be good for ya. At first I was concerned that the cold
air was causing a problem, but it always clears up by the next day, and it
"feels" like dust on the top of my lungs, not something deeper down.
I'm going up for a beer, anyone else thirsty?
