The Unofficial Hollister Eyeball Welcoming Committee (Dave S., Mark H., and
Big Al - filling in for the Unofficial UnChairman Preacher) announces the
annual Hollister Eyeball to be held at the 7-11 Store, San Benito St. @
Hawkins St., at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 1.
The Hollister UnRally promises to be the biggest nonevent of the season,
nonattracting nonthousands of nonparticipants to the noncelebration of the
59th anniversary of the nonevent in 1947!

cancellation of the "official" event and what's going on behind the scenes
regarding the UnRally which is expected to draw about 20,000 to 40,000

As in past years, the Hollister Eyeball is an opportunity to say hello to
old and new friends. You can follow San Benito Street / CA Hwy 25 through
the middle of town, or you can ride down parallel streets just west of, and
just east of, San Benito Street, to avoid the traffic and crowd.
Or, you can approach from the south, coming in on San Benito St./ Hwy 25.
Hawkins St. is several blocks north of Union Road and six
blocks north of the traffic signal at Nash Road (high school).
Please arrive early enough so you can park on the street (and maybe even in
the shade), rather than in the store parking lot. There may be a lot of car
traffic in & out of the parking lot during the Unrally, and we don't want to
block access.
It wouldn't hurt if several of us made actual purchases at the store, so
that we are "customers".
This is another one of those "just show up" (tm T.L. Mitchell) type of
activities, so you don't have to check in or anything. If you're going,
