Home from Biketoberfest in one piece without calamity..... other than
mistakenly ending up with a PBR in my hand at one of Kickstart's haunts.

A fuller write-up forthcoming when I get a round tuit. Short story, the
gas-price plummeting continues, cheapest I paid for 93 octane was $2.69
today outside of Canton, OH..... regular was $2.49. Didn't see under 3 bucks
for ethyl down or back until almost back home.

Muchos thankos to Gary and Linda once again for their legendary,
beyond-the-call-of-duty hospitality.

Last I saw of Bear was him leaving early into the 34-degree morning in
Hillsville, VA this ayem for a 12-hr attempt to beat weather to Syracuse. I
waited til the thermometer topped 40 before I stuck my nose out. Found I had
two pair of silk longies and 2 pair of clean socks left.... wore 'em all and
had the Gerbings running til I crossed into Ohio. Windy ride both days north
with incredibly crummy gas mileage.

Your own fault for cornfusing the poor girl.  It'd have been different if
Bridget had been there, just ask Kickstart.

You got a Patrol Boat, Riverine? No, wait, mebbe it was a Particle Bed
Reactor. A Pre Budget Report? Pabst Blue Ribbon also fits, but I can't
think why that would be a calamity.
