Had a IRL with Jasper first, I met him at J&P. Then with invisable68 at
Scooters bar and grill down the road a couple miles. All of us were suppose
to meet at J&P but invisable68 was delayed from a accident he came upon. He
can fill in the blanks on that part. I was walking out of the rest room when
he recognized me by the description I gave him. The other's I road up with
were out on the bikes waiting for me so I didn't get to spend as much time
with him as I would have liked. I can say both are great and I am looking
forward to seeing them again. Were all close enough to each other meeting
somewhere in the middle should only be about a 1 hour or so ride each to
meet again.
LOL, I just got a text message from Jasper,,,,,,,,

yep...... guess they waited till 12:15 for me... but about 11:45 about 1.5
miles away from J&P some lady in a jeep swerved over into a motorcyclist
and knocked him into another motorcyclist and 3 ended up going down.... she
accelerated as it happened too... Another group from my town was 50 or so
feet behind the whole mess. I was going to make it to J&P right at noon but
it took over 30 mins to get past the mess.... must have been 20,000 bikes
there today. every one look ok only one guy was being strapped to a board
as I went by. lots of help for them. Hope they are all ok. so by the time
I got my bike parked and up to the front door it was 12:30... so I just
looked around for a guy with a abate #14 shirt and a PBR hat.... ok I was
looking at girls in chaps with the butts cheeks hanging out...and other
assorted curves on the women there.... so Carl.... I did my best but so
distracted. Free food and drink.... pop and water. so after about 90 mins
of walking around watching people and looking at custom bikes the group from
my town we decided to head out to a bar called scooters... know one of the
bartenders there and good place 5 miles south of J&P on 151. we got there
and the people I was with were getting drink at the tub and a guy walks by
and I catch the #14 on the sleeve and the words abate... I thought.. yeah
right, I doubt it... so curiosity won out got a water and then he came back
through asked if his name was Carl... he had a puzzled look on his face and
said yeah... told him who I was and then said Invisible68 then it clicked...
got to chat a couple of mins his group was leaving but got to meet his
wife... have to do it again... but ride though
on another note hooked up with a group just south of Anamosa and rode by a
guy to J&P he took a wrong turn and I got a head of the group. and they
were behind me and did not see him until I pulled out of the field where I
was parked and lo and behold he was leaving too... must be the common time
limit 90 mins.... we both laughed when we saw each other. so we headed out
the parking lot one after another.
Invisible68
but I can tell you no PBR hats on any chicks at J&P cycle... I checked
twice!!!! and yes I realized just a while ago it was a PGR logo hat... can
not tell you if any of the chicks had that on their heads either... my eyes
were looking elsewhere....

yeah, there certainly were allot of ladies with great talents.. michelle
smith was in back, and although she is getting old, i wouldnt kick her out
of bed for eatin crackers.. Carl and his group seemed like great folks.
gonna have to ride again.. there were a ton of bikes.. and they were
still flowing in heavy when we left.. that drag specialties bike by roland
sands was there.. man that is a sweet bike.. i am gonna post a few bike pics
across the road.
the group i rode up with from burlington got there about 10:30, and we
stayed until 1, which i though was a bit early, but it was my first trip up
there.. i saw about everything there was to see, but i would have liked
have had time to visit with Carl and his wife and riding buddies more, and
to stop at the museum like Carl i see did over on a.b.p.m.h, and maybe stop
at watering hole too.. but in the end i stayed with my group..
J&P sure seemed like a class act.. they were staffed well, and everything
flowed well, including the FREE food line.. and offered to ship anything
bought if you didnt want to carry it home..
take it easy
ride safe

How long would it take you to get to Riverside exit on 218, the Mobil
station has a A&W. That would be a good place to make contact. I think that
would be a close place for 68 also. Its something like 58 miles for me. I'd
ride farther than you two to meet up again riding distance isn't a issue
when I'm able to get back home in the same day. I just did a mock up on my
GPS map on my computer looks like its about 65 miles for you. I can't
remember where 68 is from I think he said he was only 40 miles from J&P and
I thought it was from the south. If that's the case its close for him
too,,,,,,,,as soon as we hear from 68 on a positive location maybe we could
set up a time to meet there, at the A&W. Then ride to Hawkey Harley for the
road trip and see what happens from there. I guess Corriville mall has a
nice leather shop I wouldn't mind going there after Hawkey. It would be a
good interstate ride for a few miles, you know, a chance to twist the wrist!
