There's a guy that works with me that found a good deal on a 1995 Honda
CBR600 F3. He's a 21 year old kid looking for his first bike. He has
signed up for the MSF course, so he's on the right track. Andyway, he
asked me if I knew anything about that bike. I don't. He wants to know
if that model has any quirks or inherent problems that he should know
about. I told him I'd ask the folks in the bar about it cuz somebody in
here usually knows something about most everything. If any of you can
shed some light on it for him, he'd appreciate it el-mucho. In fact, he
left a wad of $20 bills here with me, so let's have a round on him.
Thanks,

Typical Honda reliability, no problems, handles like they are on rails.
Also, capable of well over 150 MPH, but they are tractable in power. Very
subdued up to about 7500 RPM, but between 8000 RPM and 13,000 (their red
line) they will yank your arms out of the socket if tuned correctly.

Thanks, Eric. Just the kind of stuff he was wanting to know. I'll pass
it on to him.

Fine bike, but has he looked into insurance?
That oughta be a deal breaker....
