Looks like the beer truck just arrived so grab a cold one on me!

I went to see a very well priced FXD yesterday - needs another exhaust
(it's running drag pipes and I'd rather have something a tad more
quiet) but other than that I must say I quite liked it. No service
history, but the owner's an engineer who supposedly looked after it and
it *does* look well looked after. Not owned by Mr Polishing Rag, just
well maintained.

Anyway, I do like the bike but the clutch is way too heavy for me[1].
In the back of my mind I vaguely remembered that Magura does a
hydraulic clutch conversion for Sportys and big twins but despite JP
Cycles listing this as applicable from '86, Magura themselves (who
should know, right?) say it's only suitable for '99 on bikes. And the
one I'm looking at is a '96...

So, does anybody here know of a way to make the clutch action lighter
on one of these? Otherwise I'd have to let that one go and that would
be a pity...

[1] Nerve injury in my arm makes pulling heavy clutches a good way to
take a sick day

Has anyone ever seen one of these for older bikes? My 84 Shovel kills
after about 30 minutes of riding through beach traffic, stopping every
few blocks for signals/crosswalks/people running across the street, etc.
