Hi there ! I recently traded my HD 1998 Fat Boy in for a HD 2002 Road
King Classic and I sure like it. It has a Sundowner bucket seat and a
mediumsized HD deatachable passenger backrest with large oval leather
support. The set-up lookes nice but my 5'8" tall passenger complains
about sitting to far forward on the passenger pillion of the Sundowner
seat. I noticed the seat is thicker than a o.e.m. Road King Classic
seat, so I thought I'd buy a tall detachable HD backrest to make up
for the height difference of the seats. Looking at internet pictures I
see that the tall backrest angles a bit backwards so that might give a
passenger a bit more room. Now comes the "big question" : is there a
TC88 Road King Classic rider/passenger who visits this forum and has
experience with the combo of a Sundowner bucket seat with HD
detachable tall backrest ? I will appreciate your opinion highly !
