Greetings all. High time I stumped up for a round or three so my cards with
the barkeep, help yourselves.
A very long, long time ago Mr Bike refused to fire up at work for the ride
home. I was forced to leave him there until the next day when I had some
tools to poke around a bit. I got him going butt only as far as home.
Here's where the dog comes in. We purchased a dog and in doing so my spare
time went down the toilet, mind you she is a gorgeous blue (grey) Great Dane
by the name of Belle. Anywho... I diagnosed the problem as being a short in
the aftermarket Artronix alarm system. This afternoon, just before the
scheduled end of civilisation I managed to remove the alarm system,
connected up the battery, pressed the starter switch and blow me if Mr Bike
didn't fire up after a spot of encouragement : )
Now all I gotta do is unstick the brake pads and get the scoot MOT'd (annual
inspection).
