One of my complaints about the new bike has been that the mufflers
were too loud. I know, I know, they're not loud but I would have
liked for them to be quieter. I got my wish and got rid of the ugly
stockers too. A friend gave me a set of brand new SE CVO take offs.
Damn these things are very quiet, especially at idle and low engine
speeds.

Did you have to remap your Fuel Injection?

I didn't do anything but put the mufflers on. It's so quiet I doubt if
these flow much better than stock. I know the closed loop system will
compensate for them when in closed loop at least up to the point where
it sets a code for having to constantly richen the mixture. I've read
that on the '09s an air cleaner and muffler upgrade doesn't need to be
flashed. No problem here because I'll never change the air filter
housing to an open design. They work good but are too damn noisy for me.

Read an article somewhere by Joe Minton where they added one component at a
time and dynoed it for the results. The SE breather produced minimal
results. H-D musta done something good with their current breather setup.
