Just back from my first dealer meetings.
Apart from the rhetoric, there was some decent unvailings.
Just going from memory:

The new Sporty "48" looks pretty sharp although the mini tank is back.
Nice colours and lines. Not really what anyone needed right now
though.
Except maybe to continue reaching out to younger riders.

The Ultra CVO Black looks great. I know several think it's a waste of
money but we are getting one of the 999 being made and I predict no
problem selling it. See it in person, the photos do not do it justice.
FWIW, the black stuff consistently costs more than chrome in most
applications.

New SE 120 motor.
They took the 113" and stroked it out a bit more. That motor is
snarly.
Very nice. Very expensive though. (110" motors will require new cases
which they have also introduced)
May be available as a drop in motor down the road a piece. Since it
comes with a new crank and has cases available it pretty much can be a
drop in already.

New SE254 cam. More torque and HP where you need it; low and midrange.
Looks a good bet that it will show up in the 110" stage 1 kit before
long
and maybe in the stage 2 103" kit as well. Should be street legal
once
CARB passes it.

New Street legal(?) heads. Basically stockers but CNC ported and
polished. Retail at $700 with a possible exchange program in the
pipes.
They are going after the indy head market. These are in a "Tell us
what you think" phase with a July delivery date planned. Too bad
because I can think of at least 4 customers who would buy them right
now.

Nerw 16" 1.25" apes with risers and matching cables. For most models.
That will greatly simplify the process.

New all black 1200 conversion kit for the 883.

New radial cut series of pegs, boards and grips.

Boom audio speakers for FLTR and rear speakers of baggers. (really do
sound great)

New street legal mufflers for touring bikes that are actually decent
sounding without being too loud.

$0 down financing returns for top flight customers

New wheels at reasonable prices.

Some very nice new paint schemes. I especially like the Screaming
Eagle
series.
Pictures do not do these justice at all. The closer you get, the
better
they look.

Minor stuff like a new oil catcher for do it yourselfers (and
mechanics)
trans oil filler spout and one for the primary that hooks into the
derby
hole. All inexpensive.

Magnetic lifter holders to keep the lifters off the cams.

New Supertuner with added features.

New tach with shift light.

New digital speedo/analog tach combo (nice)

New bling instrument trim rings (not so nice)

That's all I can remember right now.

Looks like a lot of marginal dealers will be cut as they trim
operations.

You just reminded me. Back when I was in the Coast Guard, we pressed
"military creases" into our shirts. They looked pretty stupid I
though. They were top to bottom creases front and back that went
through the pockets and one down the center of the back.

Some of the "lifers" used to have these creases stitched into the
shirts so they were easier to iron and would stay creased all day long.

That seems like a different lifetime.

Mine usually had "summer creases". Summer s'posed to be there, summer
not. I don't iron stuff well.
