Feeling a bit parched and I'd guess you folks wouldn't say no to another
round either.
Where was I?
Oh yes, I'm kinda on the lookout for my first Harley (mostly via fleabay).
Plan is (as I think I mentioned around here before) to get a bike which my
SO will store in Fla while I'm not in the US; get that shipped to a friend
of mine up in Minnesota, start from there and do a nice loop through South
Dakota, Wyoming and possible the northern corner of Colorado back to
Minnesota.
So far I've always been renting bikes in the US but I'm a tad cheap and that
always felt like flushing the money down the toilet so I'll be finally
biting the bullet and buy something instead.
My budget doesn't stretch to a new Harley (well it would if I got a loan but
there are reasons why I don't want to) so I've been looking at late Shovels
and early Evos. I noticed that most of them seem to have quite high
mileages on which doesn't necessarily faze me but I've got this niggleing
worry that I may be inviting more trouble than I'm up for.
Am I just paranoid?
Oh, and BTW if anybody's thinking about selling a known good bagger with
reaonable miles, I'd be interested to hear from them, even if I don't
really need the bike until July/August...

They're good if you're a decent roadside mechanic.
