I didn't ride today either (well a test ride around the block doesn't count),
but a bunch of the neighbors were having garage sales. Heard one of the neighbor
guys playing guitar, so carried one of mine down there and we played for a
while. Didn't take long till we had the about 1/2 the neighbors over, and
womenfolk dancing in the driveway.....
Then I had to give it up, I'd originally gone out to check the bike, last couple
times I rode it seemed like it was running a bit rough.
Pulled the plugs and found them a bit carboned up, not black, not oily...just
almost a ashy white stuff.....not very much but enough that the gap was down to
about .034 instead of the .038-.043 recommended.
Plugs just got put in there in October, so I cleaned them up, re-gapped them,
stuck them back in and tried it out.....
Purrs like a kitten now......

Gee, we're only expecting 12-16".

We ended up with 7" on the ground this morning . Actually quite a bit for
this area , usually we only get a couple of inches . And that's enough to
bring things to a screeching halt . The city of Memphis does not own a snow
plow , all they have is sand/salt spreaders . The airport has a couple of
plows , because to them time is money .
Funny thing , within a half hour of the snow prediction , every grocery
store in town was packed . People here stock up on bread and milk every time
it snows . I stocked up too - on booze .
