Have a drink of your choice - this week's weather has been so nice I've been
riding to work, today at lunch I noticed my lights were not on, it's a 96
Springer with aux lights, I've had intermittent problems with the ignition
switch, bought one but never replaced it. I fooled with the switch at a stop
light and my headlights came back on, I never lost turn signals or dash
lights. Any thoughts? I'm guessing I should just get off my ass and replace
the ignition switch<g>

Hmmm the lights went out, you know your ignition switch is wonky, you
futz with the switch, the lights came back on and you wonder what to do?
LOL
Dunno, I'd probably grease the muffler bearings just 'cuz they're easy
to reach.

I'm betting the bad muffler bearings let the pipe mice out and they
ate some wires

I think you answered yer own question when you said: "I've had
intermittent problems with the ignition switch,... bought one but never
replaced it. I fooled with the switch at a stop light"
