I'll buy drinks tonight cuz I can't get much 'puting done.

Been trying to get in the newsgroups via Earthlink and Mozilla
Thunderbird the last few days. No luck. I keep getting the following
error.

"A News (NTTP) error occurred: Permission Denied - Service restricted
to Eathlink member networks - newssuport@earthlink.net (Tornado
v1.0.5.360)"

Called support, and the phone line to India was surprisingly clear
tonight. Habib (no, I'm not making some sort of joke. His name really
*was* Habib or something like that) asked questions and typed a bunch
before telling me that their tools were all down and I'd have to call
back tomorrow. WTF? Damn company can't help me...maybe someone in here
can. Or at least they can tell me if it's just me or if it's Earthlink.

Accessing RMH via Google Groups is iffy. Sometimes it works, sometimes
it doesn't. Just wondering if anyone else using Earthlink is having the
same problems.

Motorcycle content. Bought the oil temperature gauge for the Glide.
(Don't know how I'll survive without the critical inner-faring
temperature gauge, but I'll try.) Gonna stick it in next week or so.
It's been so cold around here that the oil probably wouldn't ever get
warm anyway. How cold was it? Why, it was so cold here that the
politicians had their hands in their *own* pockets. <Jimmy Durante on >
Ha cha cha cha. I got a million of 'em. <Jimmy Durante off>

I use news.west.earthlink.net and it seems to be working all right.
<shrug>

I'm supposed to use news.east.earthlink.net but it never seems to have
all the
same messages posted to it.

A while back was off the net for a week, ended up with a $10 reduction
in my
monthly bill because of it.

Bottom line - - EarthLink seems to be working here.
Thanks for the drink, I'll get the next round.
