Have you found yours ? The youngest son and I are downloading TV episodes
to watch from a computer feed to our TV sets (he's puttin' them on a
terabyte HDD on his Gamer until I can buy more storage for the Media Box ).
Dish Network has mightily pissed me off , and we're looking for alternatives
... and found them !!
Movies , TV shows , etc  are all available online , and Bob can kiss my
ass (not you , Mr Mann ...) . The latest episodes of my wife's faves are out
there waiting to be downloaded , and it's all FREE ! The codecs and players
are open source , and can be downloaded for free too . Why pay for something
you can get free on the internet ?
Shirley , a round for the patrons of this fine establishment , I can
afford it now that I'm not payin' Bob for my media content .

Thank the deity of your choice I don't have to kiss your butt.

I've been PVRing just about anything I might want to watch for some time
now off Bell Expressvu.
Not too happy with the service, or more to the point, the cost of the
service, but at least I don't see too many commercials.

I have been "borrowing" many movies and music vidoes from t.o.r.r.e.n.t
sites for quite some time now. Most of them are Hi-Def (720p or 1080p), some
are lower resolution. I put them on my external 1 terabyte USB hard drive,
plug it into my xbox 360, and watch them on my Plasma HDTV. Works perfectly.
Sometimes I have to convert a file format to one that the xbox will play
nice with, but there are so many freeware utilities and programs that it's
not a problem at all.

Nice way to go - new movies (in theater/screener dvd's), old movies, name
it...great quality, and I can watch them on my HDTV or PC.
