Yes it does seem stupid watching it. However it did not seem stupid when I
did that very same thing back in the 80's. Only I had a coal train that was  
probably a mile long. not nearly as scary when you can see the train
coming. so you have do it twice to see what I mean. Even my gf at the time
did it. Of course you won't see me do it now, and its not the thought of
being under a moving train. It the possibility of something falling off the
train, and hitting me. A rock, bolt or grain car cleaner (2lb. steel ball)
has got to hurt at 60mph.
