I was out workin' in the shed this morning, cleaning things up and getting
more usable space. I looked up and damned if I didn't have a new hog in
there with me. Amazing what you can discover when you straighten things up.
This hog is black as all hogs should be. It runs on corn and whatever else
it can scrounge. We're talking about a first year wild boar of course. I'm
feeding him and letting him run loose. He's about 60 lbs. under weight and
was literally staggering when he first showed up. The plan is to feed him so
well he makes this the center of his universe and use him as a live decoy to
bring more into the neighborhood. I figure I'll be able to harvest the
others as needed and he'll stick around for the free lunch. Of course
everybody knows TANSTAAFL. He's gonna work for his keep or become pork
chops.

Sounds like bacon to me! Pig roast? Let me know when harvest time
comes around, I'll bring a box of shells and a sharp knife!
Speaking of unemployment...I rode through town yesterday on my way to
Arcadia to talk to someone about work on a solar power generating site
being built. I got to get your number so I can get ya to ride along.
