No, not the drinking kind but while we're thinking about it, might as well
toast off the holiday weekend with a round for everyone with a special
<clink> to a quick recovery for a certain Asshole Hoodlum with a magnetic
personality and a 2nd job as a traveling theatre group coordinator.

I got a question for the pc xperts about email clients. I've been using OE
for years with no problems. Recently got a notebook pc with the dreaded
Vista (price was right @ $0.00). My desktop PC is happily XP. I've always
kept my notebook and desktop current with each other using Laplink and since
both had OE, it's been perfect for years. Vista's client is Windows Mail
which, while it looks much like OE, uses different file/folder types and is
compatable for the purposes of copy current files from one pc to the other.

So my choices are to migrate my desktop to Vista which I don't want to do
until I'm sure it's ok with all my software. My other choice is to migrate
both pc's to a client that works on both. I use regular Outlook for my
calendar and contacts but it would be to bloated with my e-mail (single file
keeps everything in Outlook). So I'm looking at Mozilla's Thunderbird which
appears to work ok in Vista.

Anyone have experience with Thunderbird and/or suggestions for my
situations? I could also put XP on the new notebook but Vista's got some
very cool features on this notebook that wouldn't work with XP i.e.
fingerprint security which works way cool.

Thanks and thank you.
