Was thinking about getting this. Is anybody using it? Please post your
comments. Thanks.
Oil Level and Temperature Dipstick with Lighted LCD Readout
Check your oil level and oil temperature with the push of a button. Add
function and style by replacing your stock dipstick with this hard
working version. No more grabbing a rag to pull your hot dipstick. No
more oil drips on your pipes and on the garage floor. Simply push the
button and this chrome dipstick lights up with brilliant blue
backlight. Oil level is indicated with a four segment readout - it even
reminds you to check your oil when it is hot. Designed to be
waterproof, the LCD display operates on a long-lasting, replaceable
Lithium coin-type battery (CR2032 3V, P/N 66373-06). Display features a
low battery indicator, and press-and-hold feature to toggle between
Fahrenheit and Celsius.

"No more grabbing a rag to pull your hot dipstick."
Sounds like a "gotta have", if you're a hand model.
"No more oil drips on your pipes and on the garage floor."
Yeah? Well, that's why black T-Shirts are so popular.
Too bad it isn't theft proof.
At a $134.95 it's a 'steal'
I say go for it.
Now, where do you live and what's your bike look like?

And make damned sure the numbers can be read left to right and in a
straight line. Nothing screams Poser louder than crooked numbers.

Well, it's better than not ever having a clue what temp your oil is running,
although too bad you can't read it going down the road. And don't let 'em
bullshit you about not needing a rag. That SOB gets hot. And, as already
mentioned, someone can walk by and be gone with it quickly. I carry my old one
in the tool bag for insurance, don't want to have to finish a trip with a rag
stuck in the hole. If I had it to do again, I believe I'd go with the in-dash
one that replaces that useless air temp gauge in the Ultra.
Getting mighty dry in here. I just put a cold one on your tab, thankee.
Go here if you're planning to hang around. http://rmhfaq.com/

Useless? USELESS???? WTF are you talking about? Just right here,
just today, my FLHXI inner fairing air temperature gauge (tm) told me
that if I didn't get my bike out of the damn sun, the batwing fairing
was agonna melt and run down my front forks, leaving my bike looking
like a Ford F150 Lightning. I ran that bad mamajama into the parking
garage so fast I left a skid mark in the parking lot.... and I was
PUSHING the bike!
