I found this on rec.motorcycles. This is some truly amazing film.
This is very cool...
I've read about the "Board Track Racing" that occurred almost a century
ago, and I've seen some still pictures, but I've never seen a video
before, until today, and I never knew they were so fast!

Thanks! John "JD" Cameron had a 4-valve/cyl JD that the factory made for
board track racing against Indian. Dunno who has it now.

Here's to the memory of whoever filmed that. <clink>
A nice film to watch. Have to say though that it seems a terrible waste
of wood.

Great stuff Wayne. Truly the romantic age of motorcycle though there was
nothing romantic about going wheels up at 130mpg on splinter wood. Thanks

That's very cool. I'd love to ride a track like that. Looks like they're
just wearing sweatshirts and jeans.
