In one month, on June 4th, I start my 2 day ride to the start of the "2009
Tundra Run"
http://ah115.com/html/labrador_500.html
From there we'll head along route....ah just follow the link above if you're
that interested.
So what do I need to do to the dirty girl to get her ready. Well I should
replace a couple of the tires, repack all the wheel bearings, regrease the
drive shaft splines, finish hooking up the auxiliary fuel tank (not much
left to do there, probably a one beer job at best), balance the carbs, and
give the bike a general once over to make sure everything is nice and tight.
I am REALLY starting to look forward to hundreds of miles of just the sound
of the bike and the pinging of the gravel from the road off the fenders.
I should likely replace all the fluids as well, speaking of which, Shirley a
round of drinks are in order.

and make sure your towing insurance is up to date! I've hear mixed
results from the KOA plan these days (which at one time was pretty
hard to beat) which you might not even have up there, but is
something to check on

That sounds like a good time.
I see you must have had some input on the "Things to Bring" list <g>:
"Money/Credit Card - When it comes to your time to buy the next round
you had best not turn out empty pockets. It's a vast wilderness up there
and they'll never find the body."

Right, thanks.
