I'm thinking of moving to an actual motorcycle. I have a Kymco Super 9
scooter now, so I realize I'll need to take a motorcycle safety class.
But does anybody have an opinion on the Sportster 883L?

Good fer you, go git one, come back, read the FAQ's, intro yerself and
we'll see how you fare-up or, as the case might be, flare up. Your
choice. The question may have served you better going to a Sporty forum
or "anyone here ride a Sportster and would like to share their
experience?"

Didn't know there was a Sportster specific forum. This is a Harley forum,
the Sportster 883L is a Harley. Bottom end, but that is all I have in the
budget.
I didn't know Usenet Harley riders have such bad opinions some Harleys. It
doesn't seem that way in Wisconsin from my experience, where Harley riders
even wave at scooter riders.
What's the problem here? 80% Jap parts and partial ownership by Honda
putting people in a bad mood?
