Weeeeel shoot I finally got home yesterday.
Coming across Texas I was running *real* low I ended putting in 5.1 gals in
a 5 gal tank.
I expected to be walking by then.
Glad to be home where there is a gas station on every corner

So, that super low gear ratio actually did make enough extry gas to
stretch out Mr. Tank a tad, eh?

I don't know about that. I put 5.2 in my 5 gal tank(on a 25 year old
motorcycle)the other day. I told the owner of the station(a riding
bud of mine)that he ought to check his pumps calibration.
