That line of reasoning has got me out of a ticket
at least twice. Not sure if they let me go so they
could get back to the cruiser and laugh their ass off.

yeah.. they checked the radar... and saw rain coming and that would slow you
down....

In the rain I wouldn't have even made it to the
on-ramp. The Shovel's sweet spot on the highway on
a dry day isn't exactly ticket bait. At 65 it
feels like an overdrive "6 into 4" would be a good
thing.

my youngest boy was in awe of the wide open plains when we took our
trip some years back. one of the better spots for him was when R.E.
took us up to Yosemite and gave us the private tour, looking over at
half dome was awesome by itself
