I really hate when that happens. The worst part, it's affecting you more
than you realized.

I don't know if it will affect me, either. I'm pouring a shitload of
money into my 403b, and my retirement folks just keep sayin' that
it'll all be fine. At least the gov'mint ain't getting any tax money
out of it yet. We've got a six-hour meeting about retirement scheduled
in a coupla weeks, so I suppose I'll get my questions answered then.

My gawd, you really do have too much time on your hands! Hope you took
a picture - post it across the street if you did, and your news server
hasn't dropped binaries.
I've had a rule for years now that I won't ride until the salt gets
washed off the streets by a nice big rain. I cancelled that rule this
week when I just got so damn tired of not riding, and the only thing
wrong with riding was salt everywhere. It was plenty warm - a balmy 19
degrees F on Tuesday - so I've ridden in to work every day this week.
Electric vest and gloves work just fine.
Bet your bike is pretty now. Mine's got "stuff" on it. Some day St.
Louis will get your 60 degrees, and I'll maybe wash it. Or not.

Geez, Andy, you've got a bagger, why not put some winter gear in the
bags <sfsf> !

Two words: Electric Gear. You can wear your same jacket over an
electric vest, and you'll be plenty toasty. And electric gloves will
make your hands all happy. A few guys I know even bought electric
pants, but I found that chaps work fine down to about 30 or so for a
short run just like the one you took. I got mine from a buddy who
outgrew his - Widders - think they're out of business now, but he
bought Gerbings. Bet you can find a nice setup for cheap on Craigslist
or one of them other computer-type places.

Hope you have better luck tonight old friend!

Read this, especially if you're a Vet, and then tell me you still
*respect* him. He certainly does NOT respect or appreciate what the
military has done for *our* country.
