After living in FL for a year, I still have to consciously break my
habit of jumping out at the green lights. In WI people going through
the light after it turns red are few and far between. In FL it seems
every couple of lights there is someone flyin through the intersection
long after the light has changed. Unless I can see way back I don't
time the light to right lane the traffic either.
I don't believe in the use of cameras to issue tickets. I would like
to see them hire personnel to police just this issue! There should be
at least a $500.00 fine for first offence and impoundment of the
vehicle for non-payment with jail as a consequence for repeat
offenders!
A $50.00 to $125.00 fine like I've seen in some states does not reduce
the number of offenders!
YMMV

too bad it isn't "just" illegal's that think this way

It's only ones loss, if one felt there was something to loose...
