Didn't pay attention to your carb when you were here, but yes, it's
either one of those two or if you have an accelerator pump that may need
attention.

I am expérience the same symptôme with my 98 Evo-Springer.
I am gonne pulled the A/C off and see what I get for pump action.
Rebuild kit might be in ordre or I could install the backup CARB I bought on
the EK3 auction years ago.

If I could find that damn manual I might be able to figure sumtin out!

No doubt. My only point was that if you are
anxiously awaiting the manual you're gonna be
sorely dissappointed when you find it, cause there are
diagrams, but little else, and not even diagrams of
where to adjust the mixture. But if you are anxious
to get to it, I'll scan the diagrams and mail 'em to ya.
I have a 98 FXD, but I'm pretty sure we have the
same carb. Somebody will holler if we don't, I'm sure.
