I have a 2006 Sportster 883C. I wish to enable my rear turning lights to
glow all of the time. I bought the Harley turning signal conversion kit,
thus changing the amber lenses to red and making those turn signal lamps
secondary brake lamps. For safety, I would really like to have these
lamps on all of the time. Is this possible? How can I do this upgrade?

Thanks for your help.

Ride safe.

You should have bought the Kuryakin kit instead of the HD kit.
It does what you want.

Or he could find some take-off fronts , with dual filament sockets (I got
mine at the local dealer) . I did that on my '88 XL1200 , for all the good
it did . Dimwits will still not see ya .

As mentioned, if you keep the H-D turn signal conversion kit on your
bike, you will need to replace the rear lamp housings with a pair of
front ones. Then you will need to run an extra wire from the running
light pin on the taillight socket to the running light lead on each of
the new turn signals.
Now, since the turn signal filament in a dual filament bulb is of a
higher wattage than the running light filament, your blinkers will
most likely "blink" at a much faster rate than before.
