I went on a journey
I guess it was time
Rode next to a slug
Got covered in slime
It oozed down the tank
And onto the seat
Then down to the pegs
Got under my feet
When I got home
It wouldn't come off
I tried cleaners and compounds
And scrubbed with a cloth
Then I thought, "Hey"
"This ought not to be done"
"Without that slick coating"
"Life'd be much less fun"
See the thing about slugs
Is they have special slime
It's not at a bad sort
It's a gift, of their time
