The OL and I are taking a few more days off after the party. We are looking
for recommendations on crap to see in the Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, or
where ever, areas. Not too excited about the big cities, scenic and historic
stuff trips our trigger. Thought about Tail of the Dragon, but I would need
some other reason to run clear across the state than just to run 11 miles of
crowded road. We are considering following the Mississippi river back home,
and just taking a few days to do it.

I did that last year and wish I'd spent more time doing it.
Lots of interesting places to see.

Very nice. I recommend it. The town is pretty busy with tourists, but
you can still get around easily. The scenery is just frickin' great. I
wish I could have taken the bike. 'Course here is a Kansas guy and a
North Dakota guy talking about scenery...anywhere we go usually has
better scenery. <sfsf>

You can go to "The Ozarks." I don't think there really is a particular
place that can be considered "The Ozarks." It's a big region, generally
considered the southern half of MO and some of north AR. Last September
Lois and I spend 4 days and three nights riding around Shell Knob, MO
and Table Rock Lake. Nice roads, good food, in that whole area. Skip
Branson, unless you like sitting in traffic.

Or you could come to Kansas and I'd show you our curve.
