The local Harley boutique ......

 .....put their service technicians on a week on and a week off for the
foreseeable future. Did the same with the parts guys and trimmed the
motor clothes ladies back to 35 hour weeks so he doesn't have to pay
for fringes.Terminated the used parts manager. All of this cheerful
news was released during Christmas week.

They usually sell on the average 55-60 bikes a month.  December sales
were six bikes. Looks like some serious belt tightening going on.

We sold 2 or 3 today on a slow Tuesday.

shown us, when the democrats are in, our income is less.  Mostly due
to cuts in area our work is dependant on.

Besides that, we have decided to cut back hopefully 5k a year in
spending (our personal goal),
 and to show our support of the idea greed (which he spoke of
yesterday) we have decided not to buy more items we really do not
need. we figure 4-8 years of that and we should be pretty much out of
