I have the Mojo Bar, & the only problem I've found is that the mount end
tends to ride up out of the bead if you're not cautious about keepin' pressure
on that end. You might consider a little bit of a curve (or hook) if you make
your own. The block thing is interesting, but I just put strips of old
innertube in the existing blocks to protect the rims.

I thought about making my own blocks, and lever too, but when I figured my
time screwing around looking for the stuff I just bought the stuff online.
I build/fabricate stuff all the time, but this time I did not think it was
worth my time.

Some interesting scenarios there, Rick.
danl, I've had pretty good luck - er, that's selection, price and
reasonable shipping charges using
http://www.ronayers.com/
I mount my own - easy enough to do with the right tools (don't forget
the KY) - so those interesting scenarios don't really apply to me.
The usual disclaimers *do* apply to this post, however. No
affiliation with or other interests in the aforementioned
vendor - just personal experience.
Beers all around on me while you ponder. Just one for me, though,
the sun drove away the morning's rain and I'm going for a ride.
