Hi Guys, little while since I hung out here - although I plead guilty to
lurking.

But let's get the preliminaries out the way - straight from OZ a couple
of cases of James Boag - beer cunningly disguised as nectar of the gods
- shit someone hold Andy back will yah!

Anyway, from the Sig you will see I have had a couple of the companies
bikes and now I am riding a Triumph Speedmaster.

Due to the GFC, I have (for once in my life) some spare dosh (Company I
worked for decided I was surplas to requirements), so I am trading in
the Speedy for the 2010 T'Bird. Been waiting for delivery since April
but they should be in OZ in September.

The T'birds are in the US now and wonder if any of you guys have had
much to do with them.

All the best - and there is a couple more cases on the Ute out back.

Hi Stan, congrats on the new bike.

I think the Tbirds are still pretty rare in the US as well, at least I
haven't heard much about them.  My local RAT group in Austin (Texas)
usually picks new bikes apart, haven't seen a word there.

If you aren't already there, <http://www.triumphrat.net/>  probably has
some good info on them.

Hope it comes in soon so you can get some spring time riding in.

Thanks George - am already on triumphrat.

Re spring riding - waiting keenly for it! - Did a ride last weekend with
the wife (learner restricted to 80km/hr) and coming back from the
entrance (suburb north of Sydney) it only rained for the entire 100km
home - still it was a 'good' experience for her (Riding in the rain!).

(She is riding Yamaha XVS650 - which is LAMS legal - LAMS is a rating
for bikes - instead of the old days where you could only ride a bike up
to 250cc - now the restriction is an absolute 650 cc and the bike must
comply with a power to weight ratio - which is interesting because some
250cc bikes are not LAMS legal).

Have a good one!
