Lucky for me the weather was nice when I left Mass Bright Warm Sunny, arriving
South Eastern Conn just in time to see a parade of Net-Scum heading down
Spithead road, with dark thick clouds rolling in from Western Conn.

After they passed I did a U-turn and fell into the tail of the formation,
which included SteveT on a pink (Vespa), Steve went as far a the Gas station
where those needing a tank-up did so, the rest of us were ready to go, I had
just tanked up at the Hess Station down the road a bit, this was perfect
timing.

Banker was ride leader, the plan was a mix of highway & shoreline roads of
Connecticut & Rhode Island, (SteveT headed back to the Lisa & Allen's place,
(Sorry Steve I did not get a chance to talk with ya).

Leaving Waterford, slabbing to exit 93, last stop in Conn before getting to
RI, heading into Ashaway then Westerly, heading up rt-1, until we hooked up
with rt-106 south to Galilee & Point Judith, for a nice visit at the state
park.

Stopping for a quick snack of Chowda & Calm cakes, proceeding up ocean road
to Narraganset Pier continuing up 1-A intersection with Rt-138 east, over the
new Jamestown Bridge, Those on the ride could see the old bridge in the
process of demolition, a few weeks ago they dropped the main girder section
into the bay, in a couple of weeks the rest is gonna be blasted.

On to Beaver Tail Park/point, the trip from Point Judith & Beaver tail was a
bit damp, but tolerable, sprinkles here & there, but no nasty rain. BillG was
in need of gloves.

Since I was on a short leash today, due to conflicting family plans, I had to
scoot off as the ride made it's return trip to Waterford, I said my farewells
to the assembled group and we headed back, BillG found a glove donor

I bet Bob thinks, RI-DOT needs better signage at North Main Street & 138
overpass, I agree ;-)

I split from the procession, at RT-1 heading north to Rt-4 & I-95 reaching
warmer & brighter weather in South Attleboro.

Great meeting all you folks, Bruce & Risa, Banker Bob, Goast, BillG,
Yo-Adrian, Bear, Traci,  Ken & Bride.  Sorry to have missed Lisa & Allen,
Steve-T and anyone else who was hanging around (Over) at the camp....

Noel

I don't know about that anymore.  Seems he's stopping at yellow lights
all of a sudden.
Fawked me all up, it did.

Now I gotta worry about yellow lights AND big RV's...
