Hey all, I'm looking for a front wheel that will fit an old Suzuki GT750
front end. The original GT750 drum brake systems are out there but pricey,
I'm just looking for something that will fit. I believe it's a 7/8" axle.
I don't necessary need to the rim and spokes, but I am looking for the
entire brake/hub assembly. I've got the original one for my Triumph but the
axel is 5/8" and is a bit short. I suppose my other option is a longer 5/8"
axel and axel spacers for the forks. Anyway, thought I'd check to see if
anyone in here has anything taking up space on the shelf in their garage
from way back in the day.
Shirley some drinks are in order.

Axe sually, it's likely metric, but it's about 7/8".

Ahem!
Suzuki is metric! The hard part will be making a caliper mount for a
proper disc brake. How much room do you have between the legs? Probably
be best to use a matching axle unless it is just "through bolted".
Usually there is a pinch bolt on one side to allow some movement so the
forks don't bind up.
90 degrees here and humid, thanks for the refreshing beverage.

90 here too , but the heat index sez it feels like 102 . Silly me , out
torchin' some shapes in this heat .
I have one 19" wheel , spoked , with a disc on it . Les gave it to me , if
you want it , it's yours (Tud , that is , Rick don't need a wheel) . Dunno
what it's off , neither did he . But we both thought it would fit a CB 750 ,
which it won't .

Thanks Snag. I'm going to hunt around for a drum to keep things simple, but
if that changes I'll let you know.
