I've had a little issue with what I thought might be a broken motor
mount. In first gear, when I let the clutch out quickly, I hear a
slight clunk, when I feather it, no problems. So I took it to Legends
(H-D dealer in NJ), and the Service Writer sed "There's a fix for
this!".
For those of you with "High Mileage" bikes, there is a "fix" for the
Transmission Compensator Assembly. Harley is servicing them under
warranty (mine's up the end of this month) because they seem to be
failing. They are offering the new and improved Screamin' Eagle
Assembly if you pay the difference. I just did,,, guess what....
there's no price difference. The part number is 40296-06 for the old
and 40296-06A for the beefier version.
Get R Done...

I usually don't miss TL's service advice, unless maybe I was thinkin' it
was for the NEWest bikes.
