My power just came on!
It has been off since 11:30PM last Thursday. Saturday night was
rough. It got down to 8 degrees outside and 28 degrees inside.
However, most of us up here in the northeast are back online or will
be within the next few days.
Product Review:
I switched to an IPhone a month ago. During the power outage, it was
my lifeline. It surfs the Internet and handles all of my email
accounts. I was able to follow the progress of the local power
company and keep up to date with the news and with my students
throughout the power outage. The only flaw is the size of the text.
Older eyes would have a hard time reading some of it. It has my
ringing endorsement. With the exception of Usenet, it did everything
I use my laptop for. I was even able to take come Chuck Berry guitar
lessons from YouTube when I got bored. Unfortunately, I couldn't
play very well with cold fingers.

I like my iPhone, I don't take a laptop with me on weekend trips any more.
As for text size, it gets bigger, just put your thumb and finger on the screen
and spread them. Only problem is the scrolling you have to do when you make
the text bigger.
