Twas enjoyable. It was nice that Spunky rode down! That dragon on
your bike looks like it made to go there.

From the description it sounds like the thing to do to improve the
stability.

At least someone kept dry. <g>
After we left I spent 2 1/2 hours at the AT&T store a few miles down
the road. It rained almost the whole time I was in there. Finally
got a new phone and headed home. As I got to Brooksville I decided
the hell with the dark clouds ahead and rode on the Sleepy Hollow just
North of Floral City. I was soaked but the $5.00 steak, new potatoes
and beans were just fine.

'Twas indeed! Once I found the restaurant, that is. That sucker sure
is tucked way back into an inside corner of that shopping center. Took
me longer than I'd have liked to find it using the directions off my
cell phone.

Enjoyed meeting Kickstart and his lovely daughter, Dan'l (who reminds me
of John Goodman for some reason), and Greg. Always a pleasure to see
Wayne (who has always impressed me since my first blind stumble into
r.m.h) and Jinks (now the installer par excellence of the stabiity gizmo).

It was my mixed pleasure to lure all the rain with me back to Baja
Georgia. Rode from frog strangler to gray overcast to frog strangler
all the way home. The good gnus is that I found that my Oxtar (now
marketed as TCX) boots are absolutely waterproof. My feet stayed
completely dry no matter how hard it rained. Mixed gnus is that my Frog
Toggs are only mostly waterproof. I can't complain; I rode through some
seriously nasty downpouring rain so anyplace that a rain suit could leak
it would have. I was mostly dry when I got home, but the expected kinds
of places, like up the wrist openings, up the leg bottoms and down the
back of the rain suit leaked and I was wet.

On the whole, though, I wasn't wet enough to whine about it.

Gotta do this again soon, maybe this time without rain.

I gotta know.
Do you wrap *yourself* in newspaper, and do blind men say...
ah, nevermind.

Not unless it's really cold out.

Blind men, like all other men, weep aloud as I walk the street. Women
faint dead away, children stop and stare in awe, sheep run in terror.
