Drinks on the house, pull up a stool

Anyone take the YORK tour recently?  Thinking of riding down early
April - Any sights to see on the way down from New England?  Any
recommended stops/places to avoid (other than the obvious...)

thanks I think I will!
I've done the open house in Sept, comming from the south, just watch
RT30, I know thru Lancaster County its bad, 'lots of truck traffic'
but as far as sights, the town of York itself is pretty cool, lost of
rolling countryside, enjoy your ride.

 PROZAC asks:

Not in many years, but I did do it when a bunch of folks came from out
of town and wanted to do the tour during the York Open House in
September.  Last year the demo rides were held at the Open House
instead of the fairgrounds, so I got to see the loooooooong lines for
the tour.  I can tell you this: security has changed a LOT since 9/11.
Don't even think about taking a knife, even a little pocket knife, in
there.  Colors of any kind, even RCs, were being turned away (except
the military ones).  It's a long tour, with a lot of walking, and they
require close-toed shoes, so that's something else to think about...

New England?  Any

Scenery depends on the time of year you're comin' down, but in April
you're likely to be more than a bit chilly.  Might help if you give an
approximate route.  Note use of the word "approximate" here.  Some of
us have serious issues went it comes to things like pla...er...I mean
pla...um...how about thinking too much about things in advance... :^)

 postulated :

We went up there a few years ago in early April and caught a light
snow. We are returning this year about mid-May. The Gettysburg battle
ground was a great tour and this year the Retreads are having their
Mid-Atlantic rally in Lancaster. I would imagine that the York plant
has even more automation since I was there last.
