Well Karen has been riding the Adventure for a bit now, (really it is
not much different than her GS)  she likes it real well (I figured she
would)

She also went and looked at the cross bones Saturday,  sweet looking
bike in the black, (the what they call "denim black" looks great as
well)  but any other color IMO its looks stupid with the way they did
the front fender brace, it also runs a 200 rear tire from the factory
now, 20k though, but hey we could "fit" back in (hahahaha)

we also went over to the kawasaki dealer and looked at the concourse
1400 http://tinyurl.com/6ymarx , damn nice bike for sure, the lady
there was >< close to rude though (maybe I tired of waiting after
calling ahead to see the bike) Anyhow a bike like that should finish
off anything to do with anyone that thinks bikes have no soul (sarcasm
intended) but what a machine!  it's pretty close to being what the bmw
K1200GT is for about 8-9k less (12k msrp + options)

also looked at Aprilia's,  Karen liked the TUONO
http://tinyurl.com/6l9nng  out in Vegas during the track days at
femoto.that would make a fun bike for up here in the mountains as well
they are sitting on the floor with msrp of 12999.

So we decided the Cross bones is out, we are going to stick with the
plan on picking up another early bike to make a decent little toy out
of, think we would have a lot more fun with something that we set up
ourself over the candy that you buy off the floor, besides, I'm still
not impressed with the extreme heat of the TC engines

more than likely the R1200GS of hers will go up for sale (06 with 35k
miles) and replace it with an Adventure though, she really likes the
GS of hers and it does the job of everything we do for traveling very
well, (although that concourse is sweet! but then we would probably
buy the K1200GT)

Dare to be different...I like the way those bikes look but I fear I am

OK, let me try some other ones, the sun was in my eyes, there was a hole
in my paddle...not enough room in the garage, unless someone wants the
'87 bagger of course...<ahem>.
