Libations all around!

Some of you know that I haven't been really all that fond of the new
twin-cam motors.  I was even less fond of them when my '06 shut down
in a traffic jam on the way to Allen-1's this spring.  Figuring I
could pay off some debt and score a nice mid-90's evo the way the
prices are running, I found a '94 fxlr with 20k on the clock and solid
maintainence history this past weekend and it's now gracing my
garage.  Nice to be back in an EVO motor again, especially on the FXR
frame (damn, these bikes handle great).  It's got the aircleaner and
pipe mods done to it and I'd like to cam it soon, but other than a few
minor things (hey it's gonna be 15 years old soon) it's a pretty stand-
up bike.  Looks like brand-new.

If anyone has a stock FXR pillow seat, lying around they'd want to
part with for cheap, ping me at kschofie@hotremovethismaildotcom.

All I can tell ya is I swear I can hear mariachi music everytime I
look at the seat that's on it.

Cheers!

From another Evo holdout, congrats.  Nice score.

If the economic downturn/whinefest continues it won't be long before
lots of low mileage Evos are brought out of garages and dusted off.
Riding an evo means you'll never ever run out of spares.
