good company though, we took off yesterday with Thomas and Tyra for a
Ride down to the Whistle stop cafe made famous by the movie Fried
Green tomatoes, ride was nice because the weather was warm enough to
enjoy it <g>, neat little 8 store town that was basically a ghost town
until they repaired and rebuilt it for the movie, BUT that cafe had
terrible food, Mine was burnt, Thomas's was Raw service was poor and
they stopped half the menu after 3pm, which they did not tell us about
when we gave our name for the wait at 2:30ish pm, so if your ever
inclined to go to the Whistle Stop cafe in Juliet Ga to take a look at
the place brought back to life by a movie, I'd suggest eating
elsewhere first!
we did stop and holler at Taz on the way back

I never saw the movie or read the book. I remember you and Karen
wondering if we were in the booth where so-and-so was served human
remains for dinner. So I guess the food quality shouldn't have been a
surprise. Or maybe they haven't quite got the recipe for people spot
on yet?
<shrug> I guess you never know with remote places like that. The
lounge lizard across the street was ok and not even playing the banjo.

... and interrupted him feeding the neighborhood strays to his
critters. The dogs did a good job playing innocent but we know they do
all the legwork.
