belly up folks, hot and humid out here so order something nice and cold on
me.
I've decided to sell my '91 fxr so i listed it on ebay. I'm not trying to
pimp it here but I'm just not sure what is a fair price for it.
Here's a link to the listing:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&itemF52738464
I work shitty retail hours so when I can go for a ride everyone's at work
(and vice versa) add to the fact that i have two other bikes to ride, this
ones up for sale.
Anyone who hangs around here should know that i've been here a bunch of
times and i've contributed to EKIII auctions numerous times (and i'm getting
a few items ready for another round) so i'm not spamming. I really dont know
the going price on used HD's. (there's no price guide that accounts for
paint, mileage, etc)
Give me your honest opinion on price (especially if you've been selling or
buying a bike recently) so be completely honest... i can take criticism (or
i wouldn't have asked ya!)
Thanks and enjoy your drink... freakin' humid as hell here!

Awwwww ... Selling your FXR?!
Searching eBay completed auctions for 91 FXRs, I come up with two recent
auctions with bids:
An FXR Low Rider was bid up to $5200 (Didn't make reserve)
An FXRS went for $7000
http://tinyurl.com/rcmkg
NADA suggests between $4520-5945
Good Luck.

Thanks for the link, maybe i wont be selling it after all. I think $10k is
my "keep it" price. I dont need to sell her, just seems a shame to let her
sit there. Maybe i'll quit my job!! :)
Thanks again.

While I think quitting your job to ride more is a most sluggly solution,
you just might get $10k for her. Drop the initial price and set a
reserve. I'd set the reserve a few bucks below $10k. Once bidders hit
reserve, they may bid it up.

Well shit, send her up here to NY, I'll ride her for ya until you've got a
bit more time. You're welcome! <g>
