i am a dish network/directv installer and today, tucked away in a garage at
a customers house was a interesting cycle..
i see all kinds of treasures while out on jobs.. hot rods, sweet bikes,
boats, whatever.. but this is the first i have seen of these..
it was a DNEPR..
you fine folks clued me into the Ural, so thats what i thought it was.. but
when i asked the guy what it was he said it was a ukrainian 'nipper'.
anyways, lots of similarities to the ural for sure.. has a unique passenger
handlebar.. all i had was my cell phone, so the pics arent great, but i
will post them later today across the way.. he hasnt been able to title and
register it here in iowa.. said al he has in the ukrainian paperwork..
said he was gonna try illinois, but wasnt sure if it would fly there
either.. if you have any suggestions, i will pass it on to him..
anyways.. it made my day..

I used to do those installs for years... but I never looked in my
customers garages unless that's where the wife and I had to lay cable.
NEVER have I ever TOLD others what they had in their homes, or took
pictures of the contents!
Shame on you! :)

Then the customer was a silly dork that let you in with a camera as well!
Shame on them as well!
The JOB of a professinal installer is to INSTALL... not take inventory
and make notice of the crap they have in folks homes.
However, I have to admit, that the wife, and espesially I, DID on
occasion take note to tell our customers at times to say: "You really
should add a lock here and there, because yer wife is really cuter then
mine, and you have some nice shit here!"
So you could be right.. as my wife HIT me hard when I said that.
I was wrong....yer OK.. I was oughta bounds on that.
As an "intaller", I did indeed "look", but kept it to myself after that.
:)
But a camera?
NEVER!
