I'm trying to make a detachable fairing for my 01 road king. As I
understand the older fairings will work but I wanted to know if the
newer fairings with the piece that goes around the headlight will fit.
(like one from an electra glide)
I wanted to cut off the piece that would go under the headlight and
use my existing removable windshield brackets.

"mannyj" stumbled through the door and muttered within earshot of everyone
in the bar:

Well, that's a fine how do you do...
To quote a post from earlier this very day,
"And if you're a newbie here and haven't found it yet, the RMH FAQ is at
http://rmhFAQ.com/ - pay attention!"
Now where's my drink?

Thanks for the info-maybe we should make it more visible so newbies
