My Girlfriend has a 1995 Virago 535. After starting the bike with the
choke full open,
any attempt to close the choke or turn the throttle usually kills the
bike.
The Bike will now start right up on full choke but can not open the
throtle with out it cutting out
After a long warm up, with the choke fully closed. But whenever the
RPM's get High, the bike will die again. The only way I can keep it
running is to keep RPM's low and the choke closed or partly open.
The bike sat for about 2 Years without being run it has done 6000
miles and is in real good condition,
When I stared to gets it running I changed the plugs and battery for
new, changed the oil and filter. Changed the air filter, and all other
fluids, including new Gas after draining the old out, I still couldn't
get it going, I stripped the carbs down and cleaned them with carb
cleaner and blew all the holes out. Gas is getting to both carburetors
and I think it's rather too Much Gas or too much air???
I finally got it running but only as described above, I am sure its
carburetor related or maybe an electrical unit gone. Please Help

Carb jets are plugged.
Replace the jets in the carbs or clean them by running fine wire
through them. It'll run.

Clean the carbs.
Then clean them again.
Then clean them a third time.
Then the bike shall run.

Just clean the jets with a fine wire.
