On Hwy 80 around 1pm, the CHP had the hwy blocked off for a roughly 5
mile long convoy of bikes.
anyone know what it was for?

Google the Sacramento Bee's archives and tell us about it, if it
wasn't just some charity run to give RUB's a chance to meet other
RUB's and point out how their Harley is "different" from the next
guy's Harley.

wasn't just Harley's. Just about every kinda bike was in it.

Probably folks leaving the bike races, Moto GP and AMA stuff, in Monterey?
We got a lot of that coming down the 101 here in Ventura. It was pretty
cool to see so many different types of bikes riding together.
