Over the Aug 1st long weekend a few riding buds and I took a little
putt through the Rocky Mountains, into Radium BC.
It wasn't a long ride for me, but most started in Cold Lake Alberta.
That is near the Saskatchewan border. Considering the reaction to the
jokes I made about the Roughriders I think they live too close to
Saskatchewan. OK, that is a Canadian joke, not meant for international
consumption.
One couple rode here from New York. A tip of the toque to them.
Radium is just a three hour ride from Calgary. On occasion it is nice
to attend a meet where I don't have to ride three or four days to get
there. On the other hand.....
Anyway here are a few pictures from the weekend. Over the next few
days I'll be getting pictures from others of the banquet and the other
social stuff. I'll post an update when I do.
