AMA Superbike Race This Weekend at Mid-Ohio, Need Route & Accomodation Advice

 I'm planning to ride-down from the Detroit area for the race on
Saturday, on my VFR-750.

Can anybody recommend a nice scenic/twisty route from the Toledo area
over
to Lexington?

Anybody know if there are any lockers at the track where I could lock-
up
(or check) my overnight bag?   I probably won't get a room till after
the race.

Also, can anybody recommend a good budget motel or
B&B anywhere in that area, or, on the way from Lexington
to Akron?

I'll be heading over toward Akron, was going to try to
catch the last round of the Bridgestone World Golf Championship
on Sunday.
