Hey guys, I'm really interested in getting a motorcycle for small-town
commuting and leisure.
Few things about me:
I'm 6'3''
Looking for a bike less than 2,000.
Bike needs to look good, was hoping to get the Yamaha Virago but it
was too small!
Is there any bike that can fit my needs?
Thanks for the help,
-Andrew

First things first, before you buy a bike take a motorcycle riding course.

An otherwise good post but a Ninja 500 (or any size for that matter) IS NOT
A STANDARD.
It looks like a sport bike, it sits like a sport bike (except maybe for
someone whose knuckles drag the ground), it rides like a sport bike and is
marketed as a sport bike.
During my 40+ years of riding I've been on several. THEY ARE NOT STANDARDS.
What you seem to "think" does not change the facts.

Also consider a Honda Nighthawk 750.

This is true. If you take off all of the plastic, it's very standard
looking. Handlebar and peg position are very un-sportbike. Kaw sells an
unfaired version in the U.K. as a standard. It's called the ER5/ER500. Have
a look :
